| From the original Mohican Canoe Livery,
first opened in 1961, now Mohican Adventures, the area
proudly boasts
six canoe liveries to become the official "Canoe Capital
of Ohio" today. Some area campgrounds offer canoe
livery shuttle service. |

| Along
with Mohican State Park, shopping in our historic Victorian
downtown, and a wide array of fairs, an annual trip
on the Mohican River has been a popular family tradition
for half a century! All the liveries also offer a variety
of primitive camping, RVing with full hook-ups, and
cabins from basic to deluxe. |

| A
long-time dream, the Loudonville Bicycle Path connects "the
village to
the Mohican valley." Beginning at the new Pathway Bridge in Riverside Park
downtown, the 11⁄2 mile paved bicycle path follows the Mohican River and
tree lined South Market St. (SR 3) ending at Mohican State Park. Along the way
the Path passes favorite stores and restaurants. Bike rentals are available at
Kim's Bikes downtown. This year, the Path will be extended to the parking lot
just north of Pine Mill Grist Mill at TR 629 and SR 97. |
