Join the Mohican Trails Club and the Mohican State Park staff is celebration of hiking trails to increase awareness of community trails and help volunteer trail clubs. Most of the Park's 45 miles of hiking trails were constructed and are maintained by volunteers. They take hikers through some of the most breathtaking scenery in Ohio, including Clear Forge Gorge, Lyon Falls and Pleasant Hill Dam, and the scenic Gorge Overlook

 EMCO GEARS CLASSIC at MID-OHIO • June 8 – 10, 2012
Fresh off celebrating the track’s 50th season in 2011, Mid-Ohio opens the 2012 docket on June 8-10 with the GRAND-AM Road Racing Rolex Sports Car Series in town for the EMCO Gears Classic. On the schedule as a fall championship race last year, the event moves back to its familiar season opening slot. The Rolex Sports Car Series and Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge races will be broadcast on SPEED.

 SAFE BOATING & FISHING FESTIVAL • June 9, 2012
The North Central Ohio Safe Boating and Fishing Festival will be held Saturday, June 11 from 12:00 pm to 5:30 pm at Pleasant Hill Lake Park. Free admission to the park with free boat rides, kayaks, sailboats, fishing for kids, boat show, safety displays and door prices. The first 100 children under 12 will get a free lifejacket (PFD).

The 22nd Annual Mohican Trail 100 Mile Run is sponsored by Cleveland West Road Runners. Enjoy watching runners from all over test there endurance through the trails of Mohican Country. 100 Miles spanning through some of the most remote and scenic area of the Mohican State Park and surrounding area. It is one of the country's premier ultra-marathons. The event is so recognized throughout the ultra-marathon world that the USAT&F named the Mohican Trail 100 Mile Run to be the first ever 100 Mile Trail championship.
