 JERSOMESVILLE SYCAMORE FESTIVAL • October 6

Celebrate Ohio's national champion sycamore tree - 49 feet in circumference. Festivities to include: fall family fun, 50/50 raffle, good food, native american artifacts, and local historians. Hay wagons take riders from Lewis Memorial Park through fields and wood to see the largest sycamore tree in the United States.

 ASHLAND COUNTY FARM TOUR • October 6 – 7, 2012
Sponsored by the Ashland County Farm Bureau, the Tour is a self-drive excursion around the county where town folk can visit a "real live" working farm. The tour rotates around to different parts of the county to show off Ashland County's more interesting farms. It also highlights why agriculture is such an important part of our lives. The tour typically include 7 or 8 stops, with some selling refreshment for purchase. The tour is a great way to shows your kids "milk does not come from the grocery store."
